On March 21 and 29, 2023, a group of over 40 members visited Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) to witness its latest innovation in energy management and world-class facilities in the airport's new development.

The visit highlighted several exciting technologies in HKIA's new Innovation Lab, including the Multifunctional Biometric Gate, Autonomous Electric Tractor, the use of digital twin, and the Weather Forecast for Air-conditioning Control System.

The participants also had the opportunity to learn about the new facilities on the Airside of HKIA, such as the Sky Bridge and the Battery Energy Storage System. Overall, the visit was an excellent opportunity for members to experience firsthand the cutting-edge technology and facilities that HKIA has to offer.
